This page has a number of links to over 500 presentations that can be used as games in the classroom.  The majority of the presentations are a simple game where the first slide shows all the items and the subsequent slides have some of the items missing.  The learners have to work out which ones are missing.  Each link will take you to a folder that contains a number of different presentations that are explained in detail just below.  It should be noted that not all features appear in all categories (such as jigsaw which is only in about 5 folders).  You would need to experiment and find out which presentation is the most suitable for your class.

Please note that in each folder there is a consistency in the names of each presentation - these are explained here.  I will use the presentation on wild animals to demonstrate each one.

In the folder the files are listed in this way.  Each has an additional word to describe the type of presentation, - except for the root presentation that lists both words and pictures.

The files with a Word and pdf logo are flashcards that can be printed and used as hard copies.

Included in each folder are files which contains picture flash cards and names of all the items listed.  These can be downloaded and printed  so that students can still practice the vocabulary without the use of a computer.  They are presented in two formats - Word and PDF.  With the Word document these can be edited so that you can add more or change any of the images as you please.  The PDF is useful for printing without having to format the document.

One of the beauties of powerpoint is that once all the bells and whistles of movement and sequencing are worked out, the content can be substituted for virtually anything you like.  Just remember to save the original and rename it so that if your new version does not work out, you can still go back to the original.
